The Dragons made a trip to Hopkinsville, Kentucky yesterday to compete in the Christian County Cross Country Season Opener. Impressive day for both, the Dragons and Lady Dragons. The Lady Dragons, led by Emery McGill, had an impressive run against several Kentucky teams, placing 3rd our of 10 teams. With a time of 12:39, Emery placed 9th overall, followed by Vivian Frey, Sierra Roper, Chandler Butler, Emilia Madea, and Christine Ackerman to round out the varsity team.

The Dragons, led by Gabe Bullock, also had a great showing yesterday as the team took 4th out of 15 teams. Gabe took took 4th place overall with a time of 10:00, followed by Kapono Curtis, Scout McCloskey, Liam Kemker, Dylan Johnson, Caleb Sellers, and Caley Clay to represent the varsity team.

Next up for the Dragons, the Coach Simmons Memorial XC race will be this Thursday night at Johnson Park in Collierville.
