The Collierville Middle School/West Collierville Middle School co-op tennis program delivered a historic performance at the TSSAA Middle School Tennis State Championships, with both the girls' and boys' teams bringing home state titles and cementing themselves among Tennessee's premier middle school tennis programs.

The Collierville Middle School/West Collierville Middle School co-op girls' tennis team capped off an extraordinary season by claiming the TSSAA Middle School Tennis State Championship and finishing with a perfect 16-0 record.

The Dragons dominated round-robin qualifying play, defeating Page Middle School, E.O. Coffman Middle School, and Winfree Bryant Middle School by identical 3-0 scores. Their dominance was reflected in an astounding 72-1 total game count across those three matches.

In the state semifinals, the Dragons continued their impressive run with a 3-0 victory over Brentwood Middle School. The championship match provided an opportunity for redemption against Woodland Middle School, the team that defeated Collierville in last year's state finals. This time, the Dragons rose to the occasion, earning a hard-fought 2-1 victory to secure the state title and avenge the previous season's loss.

In addition to the state championship, the girls captured titles at both the Jackson Invitational and the Shelby County Championships, completing one of the most successful seasons in program history.
