The 2021 TMSAA Baseball State Champions started the 2022 season with similar excitement as their last season ended. 2026 Right-Hander Cohen Strauser was lights out on the mound for Collierville Middle, throwing a no-hitter, to lead CMS over West Collierville Middle School. It was opening day for the 2022 season and the first game at USA Stadium's Future Stars Showcase. Collierville Middle would also bring an explosive offense to Millington and defeated WCMS, 14-0.
