The Dragons had a great run at the Horton "Under the Lights" XC race last Friday night. The Dragons took 2nd place out of 13 teams.

Friday night's Horton XC race saw the return of Adam Shepherd to XC competition. Adam was sidelined early in the season after he was hit by a car while riding his bike. Shepard was back in action with a 8:50 finish on the 2K course.

Collierville's Will Skinner and Nathan Marchionda had great runs as well, receiving awards for placing in the top 10. Skinner took the top spot with a time of 6:18 and Marchionda took 7th with a time of 7:03, out of 177 runners.

The Dragons race Tuesday night in the next Memphis Youth Athletics XC race at Shelby Farms. Then on Saturday, the Varsity Dragons travel to Clarksville for the TMSAA State Championships!
