Despite injuries and with the postseason around the corner, the Memphis Youth Athletics Championship race last Tuesday provided the Lady Dragons XC team a feel of what they will have as they prepare to race in regional and state competitions.

With the close out of the MYA race season, the Lady Dragons had to make a few adjustments to see what they were capable of. Current Varsity runners, Allie Timms, Ava Stockdale, Rena Dearborn and Abby Chinn with the addition of Bella Neinas, Bella Ray, Lorelai Curtis, Adeline Riley and Ayden Purser showed the Lady Dragons are still able to put together a great effort. The Lady Dragons finished 3rd out of 9 teams.

This Saturday, the Lady Dragons will be racing in the MYA Regional Championships with the hopes of qualifying for the Tennessee State XC Championships.
